Why do men always bring up “the draft” (the last military draft was in 1972) when abortion rights are being discussed? - are they advocating that women ought to owe our bodies to the government? Should anyone owe their body to the state?

They don’t know about Google. They don’t know about history. They don’t know about politics. They live in a little hermetically sealed bubble of ignorance, getting all their information about the outside world from Fox News and Andrew Tate.
And then antifeminists, who also aren’t the brightest tinsel in the pom, be all “hurr durr, if women want equality, durr, why don’t they say women should be eligible for the draft? Durr.”
(Well, okay, they don’t say “eligible” because that’s a four-syllable word, but you know what I mean.)

If Fox News doesn’t show it to them and Andrew Tate doesn’t tweet about it, it doesn’t exist in their little world.
